Rosita's Cod Liver Oil
Rosita EVCLO is real Norwegian cod liver oil that is fresh, raw & handcrafted from wild livers using a special extraction technique which uses nature to separate the oil from its liver. No chemicals, solvents and mechanical devices are ever used during the extraction process. The oil is completely unrefined and produced under the total absence of heat, a process that protects its nutritional value.

The fish oil market is plagued by expensive, poor quality options. Most all of them are heat treated, which destroys the sensitive nutrients within, or they're "fermented" - and the jury's still out of those are good to take. Rosita's offers us the only raw product on the market, that's also third-party tested for safety (i.e. heavy metal free). This makes Rosita's my very very very favorite choice for fish oils on the market. It may be pricer than other brands, but it's better to take less of a quality product than more of one that's actually hard on your body.
Rosita’s company-owned boats catch wild, true, Atlantic cod, and the oil is harvested directly from the fresh fish. The ratio of EPA to DHA in Rosita cod oil is 1:1. DHA is the most abundant fat in our brains, and I believe it more useful overall than EPA. (The ratio of EPA to DHA in farmed fish and southern water fish is 2:1, yielding twice as much EPA than DHA. It’s one way to tell if your cod liver oil comes from wild Northern waters or Southern or farmed waters. Check your label and see. ) One teaspoon contains 3000 – 5000 i.u. of Retinol Vitamin A. Retinol is real Vitamin A and often a fat soluble nutrient we as a nation are quite deficient in (beta-Carotene from carrots and other veggies is only a precursor to Retinol and does not fully convert)
These Omega 3 Fatty Acids and their natural co-factors are immensely anti-inflammatory. They are good for us in every way including pain management and any inflammatory disorder such as eczema and arthritis. We evolved eating large amounts of Omega 3 rich foods, primarily ocean fish, wild nuts and seeds, and land animals living in their natural environment eating their natural diet. Our bodies require them daily. One teaspoon of Rosita cod contains approximately 4500 mg. of total fatty acids, about 1500 mg. of that as Omega 3’s.
This oil taste slightly fishy but not in any offensive way … It’s quite easy to take a teaspoon by mouth.
